It’s Whiskey Wednesday & I’m celebrating with a good old fashioned Whiskey Sour.
- 2oz Herman Marshall Texas Whiskey
- 1.5oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1tbsp Powdered Sugar
- Beehive Bitters Lime Bitters
Combine whiskey, sugar, lemon juice, and a few drops of the bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or cherry, or both.
Adjust the amount of bourbon, sugar, or lemon juice to your taste though. Some recipes call for equal parts whiskey and juice, more or less sugar depending on your sweet tooth, etc. Experiment! That’s half the fun.
