Autumn: A Season of the Soul

I notice that autumn is more a season of the soul than of nature. Quote by Friedrich Nietzsche with whiskey.

Amen.

Friedrich Nietzsche was very vocally against drinking, he equated it with Christianity in fact. Though he wasn’t shy about drug use, both recreationally and to treat a myriad of physical ailments that he suffered from his whole life.

That being said, he was a brilliant man and his musings on this particular time of year match my own. I’m no fan of summer and those first few crisp fall days, mean everything to me. A renewed hope and sense of vigor deep down inside.

Cheers Mr. Nietzsche, even if you wouldn’t have back.
